As a child safe organisation, Including You is committed to children and young people’s wellbeing and preventing physical, sexual, psychological or emotional abuse, neglect and harm of any kind.
The Child Safe Standards recognise that all children and young people are vulnerable. We focus on creating a child-safe culture, embedding child welfare and safety in everyday thinking and practices.
Our staff, who work directly or indirectly with children and young people, understand their role in proactively keeping children safe.
Including You promotes the cultural safety, awareness and inclusivity to First Nations people, diverse cultures, race, religion and identities. We promote the safety, wellbeing and inclusion of all children and young adults including those with a disability.
We create environments where children and young people can:
- Access inclusive resources and information.
- Be empowered by their rights and participate in decisions affecting their wellbeing.
- Disclose concerns or provide feedback in a safe and respectful space.
