The Mandt system – training opportunity for all staff

Last week Including You director Belinda completed an intensive 5 day ‘train the trainer’ course in the MANDT system.  The Mandt system is named after David Mandt Sr, who in 1975 “designed a systematic training program for the staff at residential facilities supporting people affected by intellectual disabilities, developmental disabilities, and mental health, as well as for the staff at community mental health centers”.

Mandt is about building healthy and trusting relationships between all stakeholders and using least restrictive practices. These are values that we follow at Including You and we look forward to continuing to support all our service users with this positive framework.

Including You will offer all new and existing staff training in the Mandt system. This is an exciting career opportunity for all our staff.
